Jaipur will get India’s second largest Cricket Stadium, will have the capacity to seat more than 75 thousand people

Jaipur. India’s second and world’s third largest cricket stadium will be built in Jaipur. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Vedanta Group company Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) and Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) for the construction of this cricket stadium. This stadium will be constructed in more than 100 acres of land.

 

Let us inform that earlier on the occasion of Rajasthan Government’s Invest Rajasthan Summit 2022, Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal had announced that RCA is being constructed. RCA is also helping in the construction of this stadium.

 

Let us tell you that it is claimed that this will be the third largest cricket stadium in the world. According to a release, this is one of the largest corporate investments in sports infrastructure in India. Under this, the company will spend Rs 300 crore for the stadium. The stadium will be named as Anil Agarwal International Cricket Stadium, Jaipur. Its name will be ‘Anil Agarwal International Cricket Stadium-Jaipur’.

 

The MoU was signed by RCA Secretary Bhavani Shankar Samota and Hindustan Zinc CEO Arun Mishra. On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Chief Patron of RCA Dr. C.P. Joshi and others were present. This stadium to be built on Delhi Road Jaipur will be constructed in 100 acres with many facilities. This stadium will have a seating capacity of 75 thousand spectators.

 

Work is to be done in two phases for the construction of this stadium. In this, the work of the first phase has started. The first phase will have a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators. Every world class facility will be available in this stadium. The construction of the first phase will cost Rs 400 crore.

 

Various facilities will be provided in the international stadium being built for cricket. Many international facilities like 11 pitches, 2 practice grounds, 1 cricket academy, hostel, parking facility, sports club, hotel, gym will also be available in this stadium.
