Kerala Police arrested two RSS workers with weapons

The Kerala Police on Monday registered the arrest of two Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers. He was arrested from Mannacherry near Alappuzha on Sunday night. police gave this information. According to officials, they have registered the arrest of two RSS workers Sumesh alias Bittu and Srinath.

Alappuzha. The Kerala Police on Monday registered the arrest of two Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers. He was arrested from Mannacherry near Alappuzha on Sunday night. police gave this information. According to officials, they have registered the arrest of two RSS workers Sumesh alias Bittu and Srinath. Weapons have been recovered from Sumesh and Srinath and a case has been registered against them under Arms Act, he said. Police told PTI, “The local SDPI councilor and his friend have given a complaint that they were attacked by these RSS workers. Based on this complaint, a case has been registered against both of them.”

According to officials, further investigation in the matter is on. Incidentally, the place from where the two were nabbed is very close to the area where SDPI’s state secretary KS Shan was murdered by a gang on December 18 last year. Most of the RSS workers were reportedly involved in this gang.
