Kohli, Rodrigues, Sharma nominated for ICC Player of the Month award

Champion batsman Virat Kohli, Asia Cup winners Jemima Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma were on Thursday nominated for the ICC ‘Player of the Month’ award. These nominations have been made for the month of October. Kohli has got the nomination for the first time, who played brilliant innings against Pakistan and Netherlands in the ICC T20 World Cup. Rodrigues and Sharma were nominated for their impressive performance in India’s title win in the Women’s Asia Cup. Rodrigues scored the most runs in the tournament while Sharma was the player of the tournament with the most wickets.
