New Delhi | Vaccine for Omicron: The new variant of Corona Omicron (Omicron) has created an uproar all over the world. Due to which the cases are increasing rapidly in India as well with the knock of the third wave of corona. But in the midst of all this, a good news has come to the fore. Giving information, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer has said that it is also working on making a vaccine against the Omicron variant, which will be available soon. Let us tell you that the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 4 thousand 461, out of which 1,711 patients have been discharged. Maharashtra has the highest number of Omicron cases.

Vaccine will be ready in March
Vaccine for Omicron: According to a report by CNBC, Pfizer Company has claimed that the vaccine will be available for the war from Omicron soon. The company’s CEO Albert Burla has said that Pfizer is already manufacturing the vaccine due to the keen interest of governments and this vaccine will be ready in March. Along with this, Burla also said that, at present, two doses of corona vaccine and then booster dose have provided better protection against corona virus and Omicron, but this vaccine focused on Omicron will also protect against its infection.

9,84,676 precaution doses were imposed in the country
A total of 9,84,676 doses of precaution doses were administered in the country yesterday. Out of which 5,19,604 were administered to healthcare workers, 2,01,205 to frontline workers and 2,63,867 to people above 60 years of age.
