Manchester City beat Tottenham but manager Guardiola criticized
Manchester. Despite winning four Premier League titles in the past five years, manager Pep Guardiola has questioned the team’s ability to win another title this season. The defending champions came back strongly in the second half from two goals down to beat Tottenham 4-2 on Thursday. The win left Manchester United with just five points clear of leaders Arsenal, but it still drew criticism from Guardiola.

City are eight points clear of Arsenal after last week’s derby defeat against Manchester United. Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal scored for Tottenham on Thursday, while Riyad Mehrez scored twice for Manchester City, while Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland scored one each.
