IND vs AUS Delhi Test: India’s name on the first day, Australia piled on 263 runs, Team India’s steady start

The second Test match is being played between India and Australia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The dominance of the Indian team has been seen on the first day of the second match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first. However, this decision of Pat Cummins did not prove to be correct somewhere. On the first day, the Australian batsmen succumbed to India’s tight bowling. Australia could only manage 263 runs in 78.4 overs. In reply to Australia’s 263, India got off to an all-out start. The Indian team has scored 21 runs in 9 overs, that too without losing any wicket.

Khawaja and David Warner (15) gave the team a good start by adding 50 runs for the first wicket. Khawaja was batting with more confidence and his footwork was also good but Warner struggled. Mohammad Siraj troubled him a lot in his first spell. His ball also hit Warner’s elbow and helmet. Siraj had set the stage in a way and in such a situation, Rohit again handed the ball to Shami from the other end. Shami gave India its first breakthrough soon thereafter.
