Mere fine is not enough, former veteran demands suspension on Virat-Gambhir controversy

Sunil Gavaskar has now said on this matter that the fine imposed on Virat and Gautam Gambhir is very less as a punishment. He has suggested that it is necessary to ban some matches on both. He asked whether the two players or the other player would never fight again on the field after the penalty was imposed? Does the fine ensure that players will not do this again among themselves?

 

He demanded that it is necessary to be strict and strict steps should be taken to stop such quarrels. He said that in fact the solution is to ban those players for a few matches, whose teams will have to bear the brunt so that this does not happen again.
