Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav died on Monday at the age of 82. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on October 2 due to breathlessness for a few days. His health continued to deteriorate. And there was no improvement either. SP Patron Mulayam Singh has left behind a huge political legacy for his family. Along with this, he also left assets worth about Rs 16.52 crore for his next generation. According to the affidavit given during the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019, the total net worth of Mulayam Singh Yadav was Rs 16,52,44,300. According to the information given by him along with the disclosure of his immovable assets, the annual income of Mulayam Singh and his wife Sadhna Yadav was Rs 32.02 lakh. If we look at the information recorded in this affidavit submitted at the time of election Mulayam Singh Yadav did not have any car of his own. Despite the existence of crores of assets, he had a debt of Rs 2,13,80,000 and he himself had taken this loan from his son and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. However, why did he take this loan? This was not disclosed.

According to PTI, the assets of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav had declined by about Rs 3 crore within five years. It was said that the information given in the affidavit filed by Mulayam Singh Yadav during the Lok Sabha elections held in the year 2014. According to him his net worth was Rs 19,72,59,817. Which was reduced to Rs 16.52 crore after five years i.e. in 2019. According to the report, SP patron Mulayam Singh used to earn through agriculture and salary from Lok Sabha. According to the affidavit released for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he has Rs 56 lakh deposited in his bank account and about Rs 16 lakh in cash.
