Mumbai City beat FC Goa 4-1 in Indian Super League

Jorge Pereira Diaz scored twice as Mumbai City FC consolidated their position at the top of the Indian Super League football tournament with a 4-1 win over FC Goa, here on Thursday. Diaz scored in the 16th and 18th minutes. Lallianzua Changte (42nd minute) and Alberto Noguera (55th minute) scored the other two goals for the team. Iker Guroshena scored the lone goal for FC Goa in the 22nd minute.

With their fourth consecutive win, Mumbai City FC have opened up a five-point lead over Hyderabad FC with 21 points at the top of the points table. Hyderabad FC, however, have played one less match than that. FC Goa, on the other hand, slipped to the sixth position with 12 points from eight matches.
