MX Player releases the trailer of Bhaukaal 2 inspired by the life of IPS officer Navneet Sekera
Choosing to serve and protect the nation is a selfless gesture that every IPS officer makes at the cost of making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Based on the true events of an Indian braveheart who vows to bring back law and order in the crime capital of India, MX Original series Bhaukaal returns for a much-awaited second season. Inspired by the life of IPS officer Navneet Sekera, Bhaukaal 2 sees Mohit Raina reprise his role as the heroic SSP Naveen Sikhera, who puts service before himself and tells the story of Muzaffarnagar, UP and its chaos in 2003. brings alive.
Directed by Jatin Wagle, this 10-episode-web-series tracks the journey of Naveen Sikhera as a skilled cop set to bring change and peace in this chaotic city. After eliminating Shokeen’s gang in Season 1, this second season of Bhaukaal sheds light on Naveen and his men, who are facing the uncontrollable havoc of the power-hungry Dedha brothers in Muzaffarnagar. The series also stars Bidita Bagh, Siddhant Kapoor, Pradeep Nagar, Gulki Joshi, Ajay Choudhary, Rashmi Rajput and the late Major Bikramjit Kanwarpal in pivotal roles.

Speaking about reprising his roles as Naveen Sikhera- Mohit Raina“Since my role is inspired by a real life Singham, I wanted to go the extra mile to do justice to my character. These people in khaki never realize the sacrifices they have made for us. Whether it’s working planned shifts or being called on duty for emergency responses and thorough hands-on deck situations, there are times when law enforcement officers are called away from their families and taken on vacation, Forced to miss birthdays, children’s games, school. Events and more. For me this role was a small way of thanking these bravehearts who stopped everything else for their duty towards the nation.”
Elaborating on the anticipation of the fans of this franchise, he said “The show is not just about solving crimes or eliminating goons/gangs from a particular city. It is about restoring people’s faith in the judiciary and justice always wins. And after our Bhaukaal Season 1, fans want more from us.
