The Rana couple was arrested by Mumbai Police on Saturday. After this, he was produced before the court on Sunday. From where the court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. During this, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis had accused the Mumbai Police of misbehaving with the woman MP. He had said that the woman MP was not allowed to go to the bathroom. Navneet Rana himself had also complained about this by writing a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana had announced to read Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree. With which Shiv Sainiks gathered under his house. However, Navneet Rana did not come out of her house and also took a U-turn to recite Hanuman Chalisa in Matoshree.
