According to a report, 850 cartons of cigarettes worth Rs 17 crore have been recovered from Mundra Port. DRI today seized cigarettes worth Rs 17 crore internationally. The number of cigarettes filled in 850 cartons is about 86.5 lakh. According to DRI, this consignment was caught on 11th. Three people have also been arrested with consignment of cigarettes. Their interrogation is still going on, it is being said that more information will probably be available after a day or two.

Heroin caught in two containers

The consignment was imported by a company from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh and was said to be talcum powder.
