A five-year-old girl was raped by a 12-year-old girl in Khunti
peg. A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 12-year-old boy in his own shop in Jharkhand’s Khunti district’s Torpa police station area on Saturday when she went to his shop to pick up fruits. The police informed about this. Police sources said that when the incident took place on Saturday, no one was present in the shop except the minor accused. He told that later when the innocent reached his house, he informed his mother about the incident, after which the matter reached the police.
On Sunday, the police caught and interrogated the minor accused of rape and registered a case and sent him to the Children’s Correctional Home in Ranchi. It is noteworthy that on the night of April 20, a ten-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by half a dozen minor boys in the Torpa police station area of Khunti itself. Two of these children were nine years old.
