NRAI approves participation of deaf shooters in MQS selection trials

Henceforth deaf shooters will also be able to participate in the selection trials (minimum qualifying score category) along with normal shooters. The apex body of the sport made the announcement. The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has allowed two additional shooters in each event to participate in competitions or selection trials in the MQS category. This approval was given in the first meeting of NRAI in three years after the Corona epidemic. In the last three years all the meetings have been virtual. The NRAI also approved the constitution of various committees for the ISSF World Cup to be held in Bhopal later this month. Teams for the Asian Cup will also be selected before December. Quota places for the Paris Olympics will be available through the Asian Cup.
