Officials earlier said that at the recently held Army Commanders’ Conference, it was decided to bring in the new combat outfit for the force. The new camouflage uniform is completely different from the existing dress and the shirt will not need to be tucked in by soldiers. It is designed with the aim of keeping soldiers warm and comfortable in harsh climatic conditions as well as the clear camouflage pattern to help them with survival techniques. The new uniform is made in collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). ( indian army new jercy )
