Pakistan beat Bangladesh by seven wickets in a thrilling match

A 101 run partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam helped Pakistan beat Bangladesh by seven wickets with a ball to spare in a thrilling tri-series T20I match. Babar scored 55 runs and Rizwan played an innings of 68 runs, with the help of which Pakistan achieved the target of 174 runs. Babar’s wicket fell in the 13th over after which Mohammad Nawaz scored an unbeaten 45 off 20 balls.

Pakistan needed eight runs in the last over with seven wickets remaining. Nawaz was at the crease at that time. Asif Ali took one run off the first ball and Nawaz took two off the second ball. Nawaz again took two runs and hit a four off the fifth ball. Pakistan and New Zealand will play the final on Friday. Bangladesh did not win a single match in this series ahead of the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia later this month. For him, Liton Das scored 69 and captain Shakib Al Hasan scored 68 runs in this match.
