Pakistan got two days of happiness in ICC ODI Rankings, after losing the match to NZ, the kingdom was snatched

A relatively weak New Zealand side prevented Pakistan from sweeping the five-match series with a 47-run win in the fifth and final ODI here on Sunday. The New Zealand team, batting first, was dismissed for 299 runs in 49.3 overs. Pakistan’s team in response was reduced to 252 runs in 46.1 overs, which is their lowest score in the series. Captain Babar Azam was able to score only one run in his 100th ODI. Half-centuries from Will Young (87) and captain Tom Latham (59) and a useful 43 from Mark Chapman helped New Zealand post a challenging total.

For New Zealand, Henry Shipley and Rachin Ravindra took three wickets each. New Zealand went into this limited-overs tour of Pakistan without eight of their key players. Its players are participating in the Indian Premier League in India. New Zealand had tied the T20 series 2-2 before the ODI series.
