Patna. The speed of corona infection in Bihar is now scaring people. If the Bihar government has increased the speed of testing of samples, then the infection rate is also increasing. If we look at the data of the Health Department, within 10 days, the rate of corona infection has increased by more than 3 percent. On the other hand, the capital Patna still remains a hot spot. If we look at the data released by the Health Department, 1.62 lakh samples were tested in the state on January 1, in which 281 people were found infected. The infection rate in the state was recorded at 0.17 percent on this day.
On the other hand, on January 10, 1.51 lakh samples were tested and 4737 new patients were identified. The infection rate in the state was recorded at 3.13 percent. In this way, the rate of infection has increased by 3 percent in the last 10 days. If we look at the data, the infection rate in the state on January 9 was 2.55 percent, while on January 8, the infection rate of corona in the state was 2.15 percent. Meanwhile, Patna district remains a hot spot in the state. More than 1000 new patients are being identified daily in Patna. If we look at the figures of the department, on Monday, 2566 new patients were identified in Patna district, whereas a day before that, 2018 new infected were reported here on Sunday. In Patna, 136 new patients were found on the first day of the new year i.e. on January 1, while on January 5, 1015 new patients were identified in Patna. The number of active patients in Patna is 11707, which is more than any district in the state.
