Penteli: A racing car overturned on the Ascent of Dionysos

The long-awaited Dionysos Ascent to the west of Penteli, which was canceled by last year’s calendar due to the coronavirus pandemic, took place on Sunday, October 31, and was impressive and full of competition

However, the race did not miss the unfortunate events. In the last few hours, the crash of the 25-year-old driver Christos Kalovyrnas, with the Peugeot 106 of the N2 category, has been making the rounds of the Internet. The driver lost his grip before the K5 turn of the ascent, swerved, collided with the protective barriers and finally overturned.

The crash of the car has been recorded with a camera both from inside the car and from the transmission that covered the event.

Fortunately, the driver of the car was not injured and as can be seen in the video, he was in good health thanks to the safety measures.
