People thought I had missed out on T20s but I am in top form again: Kohli

Bangalore. Buoyed by his seventh century in the Indian Premier League, star batsman Virat Kohli took a dig at his critics, saying people thought he had missed out as a T20 batsman but at the moment he is playing his best cricket in the shortest format. After scoring an unbeaten 101 off 61 balls against Gujarat Titans on Sunday, Kohli said, “I am feeling very good. A lot of people were thinking that my T20 level is going down but I don’t think so. I believe I am playing my best cricket again in T20s.

Kohli’s brilliant innings, however, was overshadowed by Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 104 off 52 balls which saw RCB out of the IPL. Kohli said, “I am enjoying everything at the moment. This is how I play T20 cricket. I hit the ball into the gaps. I hit a lot of fours and if conditions permit, I also hit sixes at the end of the innings.
