Whereas Chennai and Lucknow also win their last matches, they will have 17 and 17 points.

 

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore have to play two matches and if the team wins both the matches, then with 16 points, it can also match Mumbai Indians. In this situation, the decision will be taken on the basis of net run rate, which is currently running in the negative of Mumbai, which does not seem to be going in favor of the team. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s net run rate is in plus, due to which they have more chances to make it to the playoffs. It is clear from this that Mumbai will have to win by a big margin to overtake Bangalore in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
