PM Modi’s first foreign tour ready in 2022, PM Modi will go to UAE first

New Delhi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first foreign country, which he will visit in 2022. The main focus of his visit in January will be attending the Dubai Expo where the India Pavilion has achieved a lot. India’s massive 4-storey pavilion showcases the country’s achievements as part of the 75th Independence Year celebrations and has been visited by over four lakh people so far. ( pm modi us tour )

Four-storey structure divided into two parts

The entire four-storey structure is divided into two parts and areas have been identified based on 11 primary themes – climate and biodiversity, space, urban and rural development, tolerance and inclusivity, golden jubilee, knowledge and learning, travel and Connectivity, Global Goals, Health and Wellness, Food Agriculture and Livelihoods and Water. He will also join the top leadership of the country during the visit of the Prime Minister.

Significantly, PM Modi had earlier visited UAE in 2015, 2018 and 2019 and he has also received the country’s highest award, the Order of Zayed. Earlier this month, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar also visited the India Pavilion at the Dubai Expo and met the country’s top leadership. The Indian expatriate community of around 3.3 million is the largest ethnic community in the United Arab Emirates accounting for 30% of the country’s population. ( pm modi us tour )
