Police appeal for witnesses following accident in Maraetai

Police are engaging for observers after a solitary vehicle crash was accounted for at around 2.10 pm on Maraetai Drive, close to Keanes Road in Maraetai.

Two individuals are accounted for to have basic wounds.

The street was shut down until about 8:30pm.

Media reports said that one was carried to Auckland City Hospital and the different was shipped by rescue vehicle to Middlemore Hospital.

Two ambulances, two fast reaction units and a Westpac salvage helicopter were shipped off the scene.

Police need to address any individual who saw the accident or saw the blue Subaru vehicle only before the episode on Maraetai Drive.
