Amidst all this, today Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said in a tweet that at present Prashant Kishor has rejected the offer to join Congress. It is clear that Prashant Kishor is not joining the Congress. Randeep Surjewala told that Prashant Kishor was offered to join the Congress by becoming a part of the privileged working group but he refused.

Prashant Kishor said that I have rejected the proposal of Congress. He clearly said that Congress needs leadership more than me. Along with this, he said that Congress also needs collective will. He categorically said that I rejected the liberal offer of the Congress to join the party as part of the EAG and take responsibility for the elections.

Let us tell you that there have been several rounds of meetings between Prashant Kishor and Sonia Gandhi. Senior Congress leaders have also participated in these meetings. It is being claimed that Prashant Kishor had also placed a presentation before the Congress regarding the 2024 elections. It was also reported that some senior leaders had objected to Kishor joining the Congress in the past keeping in mind his involvement with several political parties including BJP, JDU, TMC and Congress.
