Pro Kabbadi League: Puneri Paltan in semi-finals of PKL after defeating Patna Pirates

Puneri Paltan stormed into the semi-finals of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) after beating Patna Pirates 44-30 here on Monday. Akash Shinde and Mohammad Nabibakhsh were the heroes of this Pune victory. Shinde scored 13 points while Nabibakhsh scored nine points. The Pune side dominated from the start and had a solid 19-10 lead at the interval.

He sealed the victory by extending his lead to 43-19 with the third all-out. Patna scored 11 points in the last five minutes but this could only reduce the margin of defeat.
