New Delhi | Punjab Election Channi Sidhu : For the last few years, the Congress is battling with internal strife across the country. Be it Punjab, Chhattisgarh or Rajasthan, a lot has happened in the last few days due to internal strife. In Punjab, the situation had reached so far that senior Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh had to resign from the post of Chief Minister. Punjab Election Channi Sidhu : Congress MP Manish Tewari made his point by tweeting. He wrote that before the Punjab assembly elections, the CM needs to solve the challenges here and generate the ability to take tough decisions. He said that Punjab needs such serious people who can do all this. Directly attacking Charanjit Singh Channi, he said that the Congress has not so far nominated any chief ministerial face before the assembly elections. The biggest reason behind that is that the party knows it creates internal strife and rift.

Punjab Election Channi Sidhu : In an interview given to a private channel, the current Chief Minister of Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi gave a big statement. He had said that the Congress high command should announce the CM candidate for the assembly elections. CM Channi said that whenever Congress has done this, it has to face defeat.
