Rohit, Pandya improve in ICC ODI rankings

Indian captain Rohit Sharma improved one place to eighth in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings released on Wednesday, while all-rounder Hardik Pandya improved 10 places to reach 76th position in the bowlers’ list. Shubman Gill continues to be India’s best batsman in the list at number five, while Virat Kohli is at number seven. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at the top position in the list of batsmen. Mohammad Siraj is number three in the list of bowlers. He is the only Indian in the list of top 10 bowlers.

Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa has moved up three places to reach a career-best sixth position after taking four for 45 against India in the Chennai ODI.
