Shah Rukh, Taapsee and Anushka praise BCCI’s decision of equal pay
Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu and Anushka Sharma on Thursday welcomed the Cricket Board of India’s (BCCI) historic decision to pay equal match fees to centrally contracted women’s and men’s cricketers to promote gender equality. Taapsee, who played former Indian captain Mithali Raj in this year’s ‘Shabaash Mithu’, wrote on her Twitter, “This is a big step towards equal pay for equal work. Thanks BCCI for leading by example.
