Bangladesh’s experienced all-rounder and captain Shakib Al Hasan is happy with the stellar performance of his fast bowlers in the T20 World Cup. Bangladesh beat Netherlands by nine runs in their match of the T20 World Cup on Monday. Shakib said after the win, “It was an important victory. I have played all the seasons but could not win and that was on my mind.Taskin Ahmed took four wickets for 25 runs while Hasan Mahmood got two wickets.
Shakib said, “Our fast bowlers did a great job. Now we understand the importance of fast bowling in every format. We think we can save five-ten runs in the field which makes a lot of difference.” Man of the match Taskin said, “It was a good win for us and we needed it. We played as a team and I am glad I could contribute.
