Sindhu was out for a long time due to injury. She failed to find the rhythm after her comeback. The 27-year-old from Hyderabad has slipped two places to 11th position with 60,448 points. Former world champion Sindhu’s career best ranking is two. She remained in the top 10 since November 2016.
She reached the top 10 for the first time in August 2013. In men’s singles, HS Prannoy remained static at number eight in the world rankings.
