South Africa prepare for series against Australia by drawing warm-up match

South African pacers Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi wrapped up their preparations for the three-Test series against Australia by taking top-order wickets in the drawn warm-up cricket match against Cricket Australia XI on Monday. The South African team had good batting practice at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane. He scored 347 runs in the first innings and declared the second innings after scoring 304 runs for eight wickets.

South Africa set a target of 426 for victory on the final day of the match against Cricket Australia XI. When Cricket Australia XI, who scored 226 runs in the first innings, scored 184 runs for the loss of six wickets on the fourth day, it was decided to end the match just before the tea break. The first Test match between Australia and South Africa will be played at Gabba from Saturday. Melbourne will host the Boxing Day Test from December 26, while the third and final Test will be played in Sydney from January 4. Ngidi took three top-order wickets in the first innings while Rabada took two wickets for 22 runs in six overs in the second innings. Both of them are the leaders of the South African fast bowling attack.
