Aap India’s Best Dancer Season 2 the best 5 One of the finalists. Tell us about your journey so far and how are you preparing for the finale?
It feels great to have reached this far. My journey so far in India’s Best Dancer has been full of ups and downs. In this I learned a lot, laughed, joked and I experienced many things. Being selected in ‘Best 5’ was a big opportunity for me and my family. From coming to Mumbai to audition for the show to being in the Best 12 and now in the Best 5, it has been a very enjoyable journey! It sounds like a dream. Talking about our preparations, we all practice together and help each other in different styles and moves. I have few acts in the finale and I am practicing day and night to give my best in it.
Tell us about your dance technique? How did you incorporate it into each of your performances?
When it comes to technique, my style is freestyle, semi classical, Bollywood, lyrical and hip-hop. While you would think this is a lot, I would like to point out that in terms of technique, Sonali and I have always tried different variations of our performances and worked on other dance forms as well. Sonali always tries to give a unique twist to the dance. Open freestyle dancing has always been challenging and we love to experiment with new dance styles.

She is a great fun-loving person even off the set and takes great care of me. I am thankful to him for being my choreographer for this show.
Judge – Malaika Arora What would you like to say about Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor? How did he inspire you?
The three judges – Geeta Maa, Malaika Mam and Terence Sir are encouraging me with their comments. If I remember one special moment, when famous icon Asha Bhosle ji sang a Malayalam song for me! I was so happy to hear this that even now I have tears in my eyes remembering it!
