Bangladesh beat Ireland by five runs to win ODI series

Chelmsford. Captain Tamim Iqbal’s 69 and Mustafizur Rahman’s four wickets helped Bangladesh beat Ireland by five runs to win the one-day cricket series. Bangladesh scored 274 runs in 48.5 overs. In response, Ireland were inching closer to victory and needed ten runs off the last over. Mushfiqur Rahim scored 45 and Mehdi Hasan Miraj scored 37 runs. For Ireland, opener Paul Stirling scored 60 and captain Andy Balbirnie scored 53 runs.
