Summer Tournament 2022 | Independiente and San Lorenzo will be the first Argentine teams to compete
Independiente and San Lorenzo meet on the first date of Group B of the 2022 Summer Tournament. The match will be played at 9:00 p.m. at the UNO de Estudiantes de La Plata stadium.
The game will kick off the filming of the Argentine teams and will mark the debut of Pedro Troglio as coach of Ciclón and Eduardo Domínguez on the bench of Rojo.
The contest began on January 14 and will run until January 25. All the matches will be played in La Plata, more precisely in the Estadio UNO Jorge Luis Hirschi, from Estudiantes.
The tournament is divided into two zones, Independiente and San Lorenzo will share the zone with Talleres, while Colo Colo, Universidad de Chile and Boca will be on the other side. The one with the most points from each group will advance to the final for the friendly trophy.
Colo Colo and Universidad de Chile opened the 2022 Summer Tournament this Friday. El Cacique won 2-1 with a penalty from Gabriel Costa Heredia (PT 51m) and another goal from Maximiliano Falcón (ST 3m), while Darío Osorio (ST 41m) saved.
