Sachin Tendulkar said for the first time on India’s defeat in the semi-finals, the assessment of the team on the basis of one match is not right

India’s dream of winning the title was shattered after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of England in the T20 World Cup. Team India won the first T20 World Cup in 2007. In the midst of all this, the statement of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has also come to the fore on the defeat of Team India in the semi-finals. In his statement, Sachin Tendulkar has clearly said that it is not right to assess the team on the basis of one match. Let us tell you that there is constant criticism over the team’s defeat. The captain and the players are being trolled on social media. Many questions are being raised. There is even talk of retirement for senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Amidst all this, this big statement of Sachin Tendulkar has come to the fore. In his statement, Sachin Tendulkar said that we must accept that we were not able to score well in the semi-finals. The bowling was also very disappointing. Along with this, he clearly said that we should not judge the team on the basis of this match only, we are the number one T20 team which we have been able to become after performing well for a long time. Earlier, in his tweet on Bharti’s defeat, he had said that a coin has two sides, just like life. If we celebrate our team’s success as our own, then we should be able to bear our team’s defeat as well. Both go hand in hand in life.

Michael Vaughan criticized
Former England captain Michael Vaughan had said that India have not achieved anything since winning the World Cup on home soil in 2011 and have been the worst performing team in the history of limited overs cricket. Vaughan had said that how could he have only five bowling options when 10 or 15 years ago all India’s top batsmen could bowl a little bit – Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag and even Sourav Ganguly? He said that no batsman bowled so the captain had only five options. Their (India) bowling options are few, they don’t have depth in their batting and they also lack spin strategy.
