T20 World Cup: Thanks to Kohli’s brilliant innings, India beat Pakistan, revenge for 2021 defeat is complete

In the very first match, India got a resounding victory. Pakistan defeated India in the 2021 World Cup. After winning the toss, India captain Rohit Sharma invited Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan team had scored 159 runs. India had to score 160 runs to win. India got off to a bad start. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were dismissed cheaply. After this Virat Kohli held one end. Suryakumar Yadav’s wicket also fell early. Akshar Patel also did not contribute much.

Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli shared a partnership. In the last over, India needed 16 runs to win. All the fast bowlers bowled softly for Pakistan. Spinners R Ashwin and Axar Patel were seen struggling, so sixth bowler Pandya bowled four overs.
