Indian men’s hockey team leaves for Spain to participate in the four-nation tournament
Bangalore. The Indian men’s hockey team, led by captain Harmanpreet Singh, on Wednesday left for Spain to participate in the four-nation tournament. The four-nation tournament will be played in Terrassa from July 25 to 30 to mark 100 years of the founding of the Spanish Hockey Federation. Apart from hosts Spain and India, teams from England and Netherlands will also participate in this competition.

The Indian team will begin their campaign against Spain on July 25 and then play against the Netherlands on July 26. India will take on England on July 28 in their final match of the round-robin stage. The final of the tournament will be played on July 30. This tournament is very important for India in view of the preparations for the Asian Champions Trophy and subsequent Asian Games.
