Misuse of Sai’s name, case of fraud filed against those who organized the trial
A case has been registered against three people, including the chairman of ‘SAI’, under various sections including cheating, for organizing sports activities by misusing the name of Sports Authority of India (SAI). The Julana police here is probing the matter. Surendra Sangwan, in-charge of SAI’s National Center of Excellence (NCE), said in a complaint to the police that he had received information through social media and pamphlets that junior and senior students in the Asha Palli Memorial Kabaddi Academy, located in village Lijwana Kalan, in the name of SAI. Kabaddi trials for boys and girls are being organized.
He told that there is no authorized center of SAI in Jind district. During investigation, it was revealed that the accused have formed their own organization in the name of SAI. In this case, apart from Abhimanyu Das, a resident of Kolkata, the chairman of ‘Sai Sanstha’, a case has been registered against three people under various sections including cheating. Ramrup, the investigating officer of Julana police station, said on Sunday that on the complaint of SAI, a case has been registered against three people under various sections including cheating. Presently the matter is being investigated.
