New Delhi | India Coronavirus Updates: Amidst the panic of the new variant ‘Omicron’ of Corona in the world, the death of 465 people due to corona infection in India in the last 24 hours has made the health department sleepless. A large number of deaths of corona infected are being recorded continuously in India, however, today there has been some decrease in new cases of corona infection. During the last 24 hours, 8 thousand 318 new cases have been reported in the country. During this period, 10 thousand 967 corona patients have also been cured in the country. Despite all this, the havoc of Corona has started increasing again in the country. Many students have been found infected with corona in Rajasthan, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and now also in Punjab. The havoc of Corona is increasing continuously in educational institutions.

India Coronavirus Updates: According to the data of the Health Department, there are still a total of 1 lakh 7 thousand 19 active cases in the country. Whereas, till now the total death toll in the country has increased to 4 lakh 67 thousand 933. However, the work of corona vaccination is going on continuously across the country. After which the vaccine dose has been given to 121.06 crore people in the country so far.

402 new cases registered in Karnataka in 24 hours
On Friday, 12 students of Nursing College in Bengaluru in Karnataka have been found corona infected. After this, samples have been taken for testing the college students, staff and about 690 people who came in contact. In Karnataka, 402 new cases of corona infection were reported on the last day and 6 patients died. After which the total number of cases in the state has increased to 29 lakh 94 thousand 963 and the total number of dead has reached 38 thousand 193. Treatment is still going on for 6 thousand 611 patients in the state.
