The Congress has issued a whip to its Lok Sabha MPs, asking them to be present in the House on November 29, the first day of the session, and support the party’s stand. Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge has also called a meeting of opposition parties on November 29. A day before this, on November 28, the government has called an all-party meeting, in which the Prime Minister will also attend.

Significantly, the Congress party on Thursday discussed the issues to be raised during the Parliament session in the Parliamentary Strategy Group meeting at Sonia Gandhi’s residence. The Congress party decided in this that the issue of inflation would be raised and also demanded a law guaranteeing the minimum support price. The Congress party will also demand to give the actual number of deaths due to corona and compensation of four lakh rupees to the families of those who died due to corona. Congress will also raise the Lakhimpur Kheri incident in Parliament.
