Someone was killed in an accident on the A1 near Amersfoort on Saturday morning. The police reported this on Saturday. It is not yet clear who the victim is. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The fire brigade came after a car first hit a road sign and came to a stop against a tree around 10:00 am on Saturday morning. Several ambulances and a trauma helicopter with a trauma doctor on board were also called, but the trauma helicopter was canceled shortly after takeoff.
