Croatia beat Netherlands to qualify for Nations League final
Rotterdam. Veteran football player Luka Modric scored a penalty in extra time to give Croatia a thrilling 4-2 win over the Netherlands. With the victory in this semi-final match, Croatia secured a place in the Nations League final. The match ended in a 2–2 draw in regular time, after which substitute Bruno Petkovic scored in the eighth (98th) minute of extra time to give the team the lead.

Earlier, the Netherlands opened their account in the 34th minute through Donal Malen, but Andrej Kramaric (55th minute) and Maria Pasalic (72nd minute) gave Croatia the lead in the second half. A Noah Long goal two minutes before the end of regular time made the score 2–2 and the match went into extra time. Spain will face Italy in the other semi-final of the league.
