Defending champions Spain face Colombia in FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup final

Defending champions Spain beat Germany by one goal in a thrilling semi-final and will now face Colombia in the final of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Lucia Corales scored the only goal for Spain in the 90th minute. The final will be played on Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Colombia beat Nigeria in a penalty shootout. 5 and entered the finals. By the stipulated time both the teams were tied goalless.

In the shootout, Gabriela Rodriguez, Stefania Perlaza, Marie Espitaleta, Linda Casedo, Juana Ortegan and Natalia Hernandez scored for Colombia while Munoz missed. Adet Ofiyong, Edidiong Etim, Miracle Usani, Taiwo Afolabi and S Oinlola scored for Nigeria.
