England and the Netherlands, who lost in the quarter-finals, are fifth and sixth respectively. Croatia, which finished third in the World Cup, has gained five places to reach number seven. European champions Italy are eighth, despite failing to qualify for the World Cup. Morocco is the top African team with 11th position. He has gained 11 places. Japan, ranked 20th, is the top team in the Asian Confederation and has gained four places in the latest rankings. Australia’s team has reached number 27 with the benefit of 11 places.
