Apart from this, among active players, Rohit Sharma is now in fifth place in terms of scoring the most runs in international cricket.

Australia opener David Warner has scored 17267 runs across all formats in his career so far and occupies the fourth position. Rohit Sharma has overtaken Williamson in fifth place and could overtake Warner if he is dropped from Australia’s playing XI for the fourth Ashes Test starting July 19 in Manchester.
