Odisha minister meets Manohar Lal Khattar, invites him for Hockey World Cup

Odisha’s Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Pramila Mallick on Thursday met Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here and invited him for the Hockey World Cup to be held in the state from January 13 to 29. Pramila extended the invitation to Khattar on behalf of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Patnaik is inviting Chief Ministers of all the states for this prestigious tournament. The Hockey World Cup will be held from January 13 to 29 in Raukela and Bhubaneswar in Odisha.

Odisha Chief Minister Pramila Mallick, on behalf of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, met Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and invited him for the Hockey World Cup 2023, Odisha Chief Minister’s Office tweeted. According to, “The Chief Minister (Odisha) is inviting all the Chief Ministers to celebrate the Hockey World Cup.” Meanwhile, according to the statement of the Haryana government, Pramila discussed the Hockey World Cup with Khattar. Khattar said that hosting the Hockey World Cup in India is a matter of pride for the entire country. He said that five players in the national hockey team are from Haryana. The Chief Minister hoped that with commitment and dedication the players would win the title.
