Nitish will give financial help to those doing business of Neera leaving toddy

Samastipur. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that a family that produces neera, leaving the toddy business in the state, will be given financial assistance of one lakh by linking it with the sustainable livelihood scheme. Addressing a meeting organized under the social reform campaign in Samastipur, the Chief Minister said that leaving the business of toddy, neera production would increase the income of the people. He said that after the prohibition of liquor, an atmosphere of peace has prevailed in Bihar.

The Chief Minister said that anyone who violates the prohibition law will not be spared and will not be allowed to drink liquor under any circumstances. He called upon the Jeevika Didis to create awareness among the people about the deadly diseases caused by alcohol. After the prohibition of liquor, the number of tourists in Bihar has increased significantly and tourists are coming here continuously.
