India got a new weapon to fight against Corona, approved the third vaccine developed in the country
New Delhi | fight against COVID-19India has got another weapon in the war with Corona. The Health Ministry has approved two more vaccines for emergency use. The names of these two vaccines are CORBEVAX and COVOVAX. Apart from this, an anti-viral drug Molnupiravir has also been approved.
To be used in the treatment of adult patients
Molnupiravir is an anti-viral drug, which will now be manufactured by 13 companies in the country. It will be used in the treatment of adult Kovid patients in case of emergency. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has given this information.

Third vaccine developed in India
fight against COVID-19Giving information, the Health Minister said that CORBEVAX vaccine is India’s first indigenously developed RBD protein sub-unit vaccine. It has been made by Hyderabad based firm Biologicals-E. This is the third vaccine developed in India. The health minister said the nanoparticle vaccine, Kovovax, will be manufactured by the Pune-based firm Serum Institute of India.

Permission was sought for approval in emergency
Let us tell you that Serum Institute of India had applied for permission to DCGI in October to approve Kovovax for limited use in emergency.
