BCCI invites applications for the post of national selectors, sacks entire committee led by Chetan Sharma
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sacked chief selector Chetan Sharma and the entire national selection committee. BCCI has taken to Twitter to invite applications for the post of national selectors. BCCI said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invites applications for the post of National Selectors (Senior). Candidates wish to apply for the said post they must fulfill the following criteria for their application to be considered.

BCCI also listed the criteria for the application:-
National Selector (Senior)
Post – 5
have played at least
7 Test matches; either
30 first-class matches; either
10 ODIs and 20 First Class matches
Should have retired from the game at least 5 years back.

Any person who has been a member of any Cricket Committee (as defined in the Rules and Regulations of the BCCI) for a total of 5 years shall not be eligible to become a member of the Men’s Selection Committee. Applications must be submitted by 6 PM IST on November 28, 2022.
