Now farmer-government dialogue is necessary

The government has announced the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws, yet the agitating farmer leaders are adamant on their stand. They are saying that unless Parliament itself repeals this law, this agitation or this dharna will continue. Their second demand is that the government should give legal recognition to the Government Price (MSP) of the produce. I think the solution to both these things is present in the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Even now, if the government shows some tricks in the next session of Parliament and maintains the agri-laws, then the reputation of Narendra Modi will be engulfed in the bottom. Will Modi ever let this happen? Let us just think who can force Modi to go back on his promise? The farmers have doubts and have even openly told him that Modi has made these laws for the benefit of some big capitalists. Will these capitalists have the courage to force Modi to flinch against the nation? This law-return has also been welcomed by all the opposition parties. Modi withdrew farm laws

It is true that a member of the Supreme Court-appointed committee has condemned this announcement of Modi’s return and a couple of agriculture experts have also enumerated the possible benefits of these laws but generally everyone is of the opinion that these laws The decision to withdraw is bold and noble. Despite this decision, the rationale for continuing the farmers’ movement is that the government has not yet legalized the government prices of food grains. This is a very complicated matter. If the government had made a hasty law on this issue too, then the farmers and the public would also have to suffer the consequences. The government did it right that a special committee was formed to look into the issue.

If the farmer leaders had demanded that this committee should not present its report without consulting them, then it would have been a right demand, but the announcement that they have made to continue the movement is natural for the leaders, but are the ordinary farmers now so cold. Will I support my leaders? Our farmer leaders may also regret later like Modi? He should make such a declaration only after consulting his followers and well-wishers. All the previous agitations pale in comparison to the number of sacrifices the farmers have made for their demand and the amount of non-violent movement they have launched. Farmer leaders should guide this government and cooperate with it so that the farmers of India can be freed from their plight that has been going on for centuries. If he does this, I am sure that the people of the country will also fully support him and the opposition parties will also support him.
